Coracle Music Festival Returns to Ho Tram for Second Edition

After a successful first edition last year, the music festival will be held on the beach in Ho Tram for the second time November 29–30.

According to a press release sent to Saigoneer, thus far the main stage will feature William McCarthy, lead singer of the now-defunct Augustines, and South African R&B artist Nonku Phiri, as well as Saigon-based pop-punk band 7Uppercuts and rock-n-roll outfit The Kanonos.

Performances on the second stage include Fleetmac Wood, a Fleetwood Mac dance remix group that has graced notable festivals like Burning Man and Glastonbury, local DJs like Jase Nguyen, and DJ collective West Loop Chicago, who will close out the festival.

Besides the live music, this go-around of Coracle will also include "live jam sessions, an industry panel, workshops, watersport activities, craft beer bar and a flea market, as well as some of Saigon's finest food vendors on hand to keep everyone well-nourished."

More headliners will be announced on September 1, while ticket information is available on the festival website. A teaser video has also been released.
