Stand-up Hanoi presents Danny O'Brien (IRE) @ Standing Bar

Award-winning Irish comedian Danny O' Brien has been to prison. Not just once but thrice. But don't think there's anything sinister going on here: Danny's descent into the dark world of incarceration was to perform. Although one time he did end up on the wrong side of metal bars by mistake.

The resulting show, Lock-In, an hour-long extravaganza of laughter, hilarity and mirth, details his experience behind bars and his take on life. It has won him awards and seen him labelled as one of the best acts to perform at last year's Edinburgh Fringe.

So well received was Lock-In that Danny was handpicked this year to perform as part of the iconic Best of the Edinburgh Fest show touring Australia. He has featured on The Comedy Channel and is a regular on Irish TV and Radio.

To add accolade to injury, Danny recently opened for American comedian Bill Burr in front of over 7,000 people in Dublin. Said the great man himself, “He opened for me at the 3Arena and f*cking murdered it!”

Lock-In has already sold out at the Galway International Arts Festival, The Edinburgh Fringe Festival and a 10-city European run of shows! Now you can see it in sunny, pollution-infested Saigon as part of Danny's tour of Asia. Not one to be missed!

Entrance is VND200K in advance and VND250K on the door and includes a free glass of Heart of Darkness craft beer. Doors are at 8pm and the show will be hosted at Standing Bar, 170 Tran Vu, Truc Bach, Ba Dinh, Hanoi.
