Matias, aka MnEd!, grew up between mosh and cheap liquor in the hardcore scene in Chile. After a few albums and a tour in Europe, he and his beloved acoustic guitar embarked on a journey under the name of MiNombreEsDolores! (MnEd!) He released his second studio album in Wellington (Nz), touing around both islands before drifting to the city of lakes – Hanoi.

His most recent album “Lago Grande” was recorded and produced in Hanoi on the “REC ROOM Bus” with 40 musiccians on a summer tour on July 2018.

At the moment he’s working on a new album with a few local musicians of the Hanoi Art Scene.

Norra Marris, with her remarkable background in performance art, has moved around and in between underground cabaret performances, acappella groups, theater shows and some short independent films. From South Africa to New York, she journeyed with a guitar in hand and melody in mind.

Through the grapevine, she heared about Hanoi and made her way to SEA where she’s been based for the past two years.

MnEd! & Norra

As a duo they have been working on what they call “South Loop Pop”. Original songs and beautiful melodies on guitar and bass, from mountains to heroin, space trips and paradise. Singing in Spanish, English and Afrikaans, the muses use loops and electronic effects to create a unique vibe from the south of the globe.
