VIETNAM QUEER HISTORY MONTH EXHIBITION – THE PORTRAIT OF HISTORY @ UP

From the organizer: Vietnam Queer History Month (VQHM) is a series of events organized by Hanoi Queer with the goal of increasing awareness of the queer communities of previous generations throughout Vietnamese history.

The exhibition aims to tell the stories of today through the faces, the specific people, the creators of change, the people who have inspired the LGBTQ community as well as those who have silently contributed to the community nowadays. Through these stories, we aspire to help the LGBTQ community increase awareness and knowledge of Queer history, express gratitude to those who have contributed to the community, and inspire those who continue to devote to the community’s progression in Vietnam.
