From the organizer: From the depths of Amsterdam’s underground house scene rises a new name: RAW Equipment.

Known for his residency at Prunk’s PIV nights and festival in the Netherlands, RAW Equipment is starting to turn heads sharing the stage with the likes of tINI, Jeff Mills and Djebali. This year will see him releasing on PIV Limited and Daniele Temperilli’s Girasole.

RAW Equipment’s roots lie in Hip Hop which he started collecting a decade ago. He soon began moving towards the deeper end of techno music and promoting events. This gave him the leg up to start his DJ career and he played successfully as MvdL at many of the Netherland’s top clubs and festivals including the main stages of Soenda and Smeerboel. Late 2012 van de Laar started to become more interested in dubby house music and decided to launch his current and most powerful persona: RAW Equipment. He was soon picked up by the Dutch scene and landed a residency with Prunk’s PIV.
