New Luxury Bus Service Will Run From Tan Son Nhat Airport to Vung Tau

The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee recently commissioned the transport department to introduce the new bus route.

A new luxury bus service running from Tan Son Nhat International Airport to Vung Tau will launch this month, VnExpress reports. The bus will operate from 12am to 11pm every day, with a schedule consistent with flight times.

The new bus will be equipped with Wi-fi and air conditioning. Assistance regarding flight booking, check-in and luggage will also be provided, according to the news source. Ticket prices, with insurance included, are expected to be VND180,000 per person. The service will be available to both local and foreign passengers.

Saigon authorities are hoping that the new bus service will help alleviate the chaos at the airport often created by private transport businesses, especially with the New Year holiday and Tet approaching.

The new service will also act as a pilot phase for a larger proposal. If the operation goes smoothly, the transport department will propose adding more routes from the airport to different cities and provinces.
