After the success of Afro Funk Vol. 1 last month we are back Friday the 26th of July for another session of grooving on down with special guest band Zilwa!

Afro Funk at Arcan is a dedicated night to the connected cultures of West African and Caribbean music mixed with Western Funk, Soul and Disco!

Let us take you on a journey through the ages of Afro influenced music!

From 10pm our DJs will be warming up in the 60s with Afro-American influenced Funk and Soul! Then at 11pm we have Zilwa!

Zilwa are a fusion music band with musicians coming from Ghana, Cuba, Colombia, U.S and Mauritius. Zilwa will dive you into some Reggae, latino, sega and similar african genres. They have been

After 1am DJ Manny and Yushka will be taking the decks playing Afro Beats, Carribean, Funk and Disco from past, present and future, covering the full spectrum of Afro Funk music culture!

We will also have live Live Percussion and Saxophone players supporting the DJs and adding an extra element and dynamic to the night!
